Our 3mm macrame rope is a medium weight. It's great for wall hangings and plant hangers! Rope is a little easier to work with than cord!
For reference, our craft kits need the following amount of rope / cord:
Macrame Plant Hanger = 100 ft 5mm Rope
Macrame Wall Hanging = 50 ft 5mm Rope
Macrame Coasters = 100 ft 3.4mm Cord
Macrame Weave = 80 ft 5mm Rope
*Cord is single ply, while rope is braided!
