I got this kit for a date night for me and my husband. A single kit included enough supplies for each of us to make two smallish Kokedama (so 4 total!) My husband liked that it wasn't too time consuming or difficult but still very satisfying to get our hands dirty!
Overall great but I let plants die in box because I didn’t realize how long they would last in the box. I also am not sure how to maintain the plants.
Yep. They shipped me live plants in a box. The future is now! Joking aside, how frickin cool was this? 10 out of 10 kind of cool. Here is why: Everything in the Kokedama kit was definitely handled and packaged with care. Plants were tucked in and wrapped gently in paper. Easy to unpack and organize. virtually no mess because everything sits right in the box it came in. Most importantly, the plants were alive and well.. amazing. The project itself: Have you ever unpotted a plant and then repotted it but in a moss ball that's wrapped in rope that also can suspend from the ceiling? Well, I have thanks to this craft kit! And now all my other plants in their basic pots are super jealous about it. End result: Like I said, 10 out of 10. I feel like a bonafide botanist. It's been a little over a week since I made them and they show no sign of wilting or dying. Would definitely recommend
